Distributor Sales Representative
Litesource is searching for a motivated and experienced sales person to join our team in Eastern NC. The ideal candidate will be a self starter with a proven track record of sales in the Lighting and Electrical field. (Greenville/Wilmington)
Drive C&I sales growth in Eastern NC
Develop and maintain professional relationships with key accounts across the territory
Coordinate joint customer calls with distributor and/or manufacturer personnel.
Own and close opportunities in project, stock, and discretionary business areas.
Be an expert resource for distributors, contractors and end users
Introduce promotions and special incentives to customers.
Coordinate distributor counter days, lunch-n-learns, and manufacturer training.
Travel on a regular basis (up to 60%-80% of the time) within the sales territory, spending a majority of time meeting with customers.
Reside in Eastern Coastal region of North Carolina, with access to your own vehicle.

Processing a Purchase Order
Order Acknowledgement (1) respond and thank the customer, (2) receive OA from the manufacturer
Gather Estimated Ship Dates
Gather Tracking Information
Invoice the PO as the items are shipped.

Processing an RGA
Customer requests a return on a defective – Through Oasis, request the RGA for defective and replacement from the original PO in Oasis so everything is tied back to the original purchase order. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for submitting the requests.
Customer requests to return overages on a job – Consult with your sales person the PO was awarded to and follow their instructions. Restocking and freight fees may apply if an RGA is approved and must be clearly relayed to the distributor. All requests, once approved by the salesperson, must be recorded through Oasis.
Inquiring with Factories about Stock & Lead Times
Answering phones and directing calls as requested
Assisting in keeping the offices supplied with supplies (paper, water, trash bags, cleaning supplies, ink cartridges, etc)
